Supporting the Oz's with a reason !

Hi all, Long time no blogs from me, yeah was stuck with a lot of work these days, waise still not out of it, still managed to write out my mind.

Finally the world cup has come to an end. We all will be seeing of the last match, i.e. the finals tomorrow. Every team that reached till the semi's and the quaters did well, but not enough to reach the finals. My hope was New Zealand and South Africa, which have never won a world cup and are great teams. But, unfortunately they are out and the two teams remaining are Austrailia Oz's and the Lankans. Lankans are great in determination.

I would like to remind you of a thing that came to my mind. When the indian team was searching for the Coach many applicants applied, Greg Chappel, Tom Moody and many others as well. And Tom Moody was not selected as the coach because of his inexperience, and also as he had not played many games. He was not that great a player and finally we selected Greg Chappell. I donno what would have happened if Tom was our coach !

Any ways, coming back to the finals. I feel Australia deserves the victory, may be they are not good (We dont like them because of the winning habbits !) But, i really admire that team, the most professional team, that plays to win. A team that has not lost a match since the 1999 world cup and they should go ahead and beat the Lankans to get the unachievable target of winning 3 World cups ! See their temperment, their fitness, their strategies, their backings, this is what a team is not like.... forget it..

Bidding farewell to McGrath, Jayasuriya and many such great players, it will be difficult for Oz's to get a replacement !

On the other hand I feel if Lankans win, it will be a proud to the nation as well as Asia. But it should be a thriller atleast, not like the previous world cup when India was thrashed.

In the end it will always be, THE BETTER TEAM WINS !

Indo Pak 5 match series...!

Sorry to hurt u all guys, but just this thought came to my mind, after India and Pakistan have almost already returned from the world cup, why not have a 5 match series between India and pakistan in the subcontinent.

Already all the fans are upset with both the teams performances. So to give them some relief, this would be a good option i feel. Fans do not have any hope with either teams, so lets see who will win !!

Seeing India Play !

Is there any other expression that can define the show that India has put so far !

159/7 - Wow, at 19/2, I first thought it was Bangladeshis who were in Indian uniform and playing that way, we have high hopes from the Indian team, from Sehwag (good for nothing) Sachin (He missed this time against Bangladesh or everytime they are there for him or else people dont get so many centuries - Sorry sachin fans, tell him to perforom or else), Onion Utappa was also not that good today, Rahul, not in form it seems or else he would have stayed there atleast without scoring, Dhoni went for an ad shoot i guess, or he plays other wise, Yuvraj was good, helped India reach atleast 159, the one who played was the most neglected, Sourav, we shud learn a lesson from him, for his commitment to return to the Indian team and to perform excellently in the past series as well. Agarkar and Zaheer Khan playing, can't rely on bowlers, but the most common comment that we will see will be Indians have a very bad lower order, as there is no one to question the top order !

See its now 159/9 by the time i complete this blog India will be all down,

On the other hand see South Africa, or Austrailia, Srilanka, how they have thrashed and maintained that line of dignity unlike Indians, Hatsoff to Hershel Gibbs for his 6 out of 6 sixes.

I hope Bangladesh should win this match so that atleast an asian team can march with some hope and positive attitude.

And i wish India a very best of luck for their other matches, Come back Indians we need you at home.
