Zyada Free Ho gaye hain !!!

Celeberating independence! Good…. It brings back the memories of our patriots who sacrificed themselves for a cause, which can just be imagined, nothing more than that. If we are put in those hardships that they went through it will be very difficult for us to even survive, forget about protesting. 100s of days of fasting, tortures like lay naked on ice slabs, still surviving for the will of freedom. It was the will that took them that far and for which they are remembered. Such protests for freedom struggle was never nor will it be seen by the world.

Sacrifices, bloodsheds, tortures and what not still they were smiling as they knew that the independence was on its way. If not them, it will be others who will be benefited. And yes, their dream came true on 15th August 1947 when India got independence from the British Empire.

Today we stand in a free India

Today we breathe in a free India

Today we walk in a free India

Today we live in a free India

But do we live as we should have???

If its yes, I differ.

We live in India which is growing, in terms of economy, in terms of self respect, in terms of technology. We have cars like Maybachs, Masserati's, Ferrari's, Porche’s and Rolls Royces but do we have the roads to drive them ??? People load their cars in trucks, take it to the express highway, enjoy the drive, put it back in the truck and we are indeed progressing, Bajaj is soon going to buy Truimph! but will that Triumph be ridable in India? Our IT companies have gone to the extent that they feel a pinch when the rupee grows stronger than the dollar, coz they have done deals worth Millions and billions of dollars and decrease in a rupee against a dollar means loss of millions! Though we are ahead in technology, we still are the leaders in service industry!

Leaving behind the basic strengths we pound on other alternatives to prove our selves. People talk about lack of water, we don't have enough water to drink and use, and we don't have power-supply for our basic use. Its not the population that is to be blamed for, it’s the lack of awareness and negligence that creates these problems. Just think of the amount of water that we waste per day, if we as individuals keep a track of these small things this is what counts. The calculation is simple, multiply those numbers with atleast a million if not billion and see the difference. If you save 1 litre of water everyday in you daily activities, and if some one learns from you and it starts spreading just imagine 1 million litres of water getting saved everyday. Similarly, we eat stuff outside, kurkure, haldiram’s etc etc… but if we don’t throw those wrappers outside, we can save more than 1 million wrappers lying around ! This number can drastically increase, we need the will to change our India. Its not that changing India is changing the system, Don’t forget that drops can make oceans. Go ahead, Be a rebel..

Its a very general thing throughout the world. Humans are progressing and not the humanity and the day that starts progressing we can see we are independent. Before that keep a check on ourselves. Be the change you want to see in this world.

Jai Hind.
