The Morning Mist...

Misty Picture with a lot of clouds in the back drop..

Sleeping late and getting up late is fine... but when we sleep late and get up early its a tough day ahead. I went to sleep at around 1.30 at night or early morning... whatever... but I luckily got up at around 6, which was first of all strange for me and then for others at home. After a long time I saw six in the morning. And for my surprise, my elder brother who is in India was awake and watching TV in the morning at around 6. Still in jetlag... Suddenly he told, get ready Pahad pe jaayenge... (We will go up hill !). Fine, I said and then wore my shoes and were out for the trek...

I don't remember when was it that i climbed this hill may be 4-5 years back. But did a lot of trekking when in Pune. And my bro is mad about such adventures and he has been to Kilimanjaro - heighest peak of Africa. So he loves all this a lot. We grabbed the Camera and left at around 6.15 or so. Sun was about to rise. But the weather was a bit more hazy than usual. It was cloudy and misty on the hill. We headed from an old route through the cemetery but that road was no more open for going up hill. It was fenced and hence we took a parallel road from the outskirts of the cemetery. While going up we found many LAND MINES (Human Droppings, they are no less than land mines, mind you).

Finally we reached to the foothill and then had a look at the new bypass road that is built by cutting the edge of the hill so that the heavy traffic of Mumbra can be bypassed through that route. Still the work is in progress and God knows how much more time will it take !!

Started climbing up. It was the diffused light.. No direct sunlight was available, as the sky was cloudy and hence was not able to click much photographs. Clicked three though.. The view of Mumbra was not very kewl from top may be because of the dense population. It looks crowded from top too.

Easily and quickly we reached the top of the hill we didn't go any other point, just straight up and then relaxed there. There is a small dam that is built by the central railway. and we were watching the backwaters of that dam from about 100 fts. It was a great view. Good it didn't rain or else sab kuch pe paani phir jaata. Sat there for around 45 minutes to 1 hour discussing about different issues, like the India's map policy to my project work to places in US to many different topics that came up. Many of them discussed.

Still the sun wasn't out. So came down fast. Came straight home. Freshened up ourselves and then it was Garma Garam Jalebi in the offering...

Going to sleep again at 1. Lets see wats up for tomorrow....
